Powers of Attorney

A power of attorney empowers a designated representative to act on your behalf if you should become physically or mentally disabled.  The power of attorney will specify the scope of power granted, such as the right to manage your finances or the authority to select your healthcare treatment options?

Even those of us in the best of health cannot predict when we may become disabled because of an accident or an unknown medical condition. However, we can all plan ahead by creating medical and financial powers of attorney and living wills.

If you have any estate planning questions, please read our Probate Roadmap to better understand the process.
