Barry M. Lasky
Estate PlanningMr. Lasky attended law school at St. John's University. Upon graduation, and admission to the New York State Bar in 1973, Mr. Lasky was associated with several firms in New York City specializing in all aspects of real estate law, bankruptcy law, commercial real estate litigation, corporate law and tax work. The emphasis on real estate led Mr. Lasky to become a partner in the law firm of Leibowitz, Lasky & Peterson, Esqs., in Garden City, New York. With a continuing concentration in commercial litigation and estate practice, Mr. Lasky, along with Fred G. Daniels, Esq., formed the firm of Daniels & Lasky in 1985. The firm of Daniels & Lasky expanded activities, merging with the firm of Steinberg & Siegel, Esqs., to become the law firm of Steinberg, Daniels & Lasky, P.C., in 1987. For the past four years, Mr. Lasky has been associated with and has acted as Counsel to the firm of Stephen Bilkis & Associates with emphasis on Estate Litigation, Domestic Relations, Elder Law, Trusts, and Wills. Mr. Lasky has extensive experience in representing individuals and estates and has directly participated in numerous trials in state and federal courts.
